Firebird

Fly above a procedurally burning ridgeline, steal lift from heat plumes, and dive through the smoke to snatch prey before the fireline cooks your wings.

Firebird

Glide between fire plumes, bank across thermal shoulders, flap when the air goes dead, then choose a beak snap or talon rake when you dive on prey.

Pitch manages lift. Roll carves the glide. Bad pull-ups stall.

Presets & Actions

Controls: A / D roll left or right, W pitch up to hold a glide or flare, S tuck into a dive, Space wingbeat burst, Q beak snap, F talon rake, Esc pause, Enter restart.
Flight Model: Glide quality comes from pitch plus roll. High pitch gives more lift but too much angle-of-attack at low speed stalls the wings. Roll diverts lift into a carve, which lets you sit on a thermal shoulder or convert lift into forward drive.
Grab Loop: Ember mice are easiest to snap with the beak in front of the head. Ash hares are easier to snatch with talons from above during a fast stoop. The hotter the air and the sloppier the dive, the more dangerous the recovery.
Tuning: Flap strength, hunger drain, and ramp are live immediately. Prey density affects newly generated chunks, so restart after big spawn changes if you want a clean comparison run.
