Gyroscope Balancer

How to play: Click "Spin Up" or press Space to start the gyroscope spinning. Use the Tilt sliders or drag on the canvas to tilt the base platform. Watch how the spinning gyroscope resists tipping due to angular momentum conservation, and observe precession (the slow orbit of the spin axis). Add asymmetric loads to induce wobble and nutation. Reduce spin speed to see the gyroscope eventually topple. Arrow keys also tilt the base.
